Seasonal Insurance
Your vacation house is your home away from home, so it deserves the same level of protection. Seasonal insurance is an important part of keeping your property and belongings safe, especially during the times that your second home is not occupied. Our seasonal insurance offers the same reliable coverage as our homeowners insurance, so the only thing you’ll have to worry about is planning your next getaway.
Why Do I Need Seasonal Insurance?
Although not your primary residence, it is still important to protect your second home. Vacation home insurance1 may help cover expenses caused by common hazards2 such as:
- Fire and smoke damage
- Water damage
- Theft
- Cyclone, wind, or storm damage
- Hail and lightning
- Broken glass and vandalism

Example: Your home is damaged during a storm.
Personal Property Coverage
Covers personal belongings such as clothing, furniture, and other personal items not permanently attached to your home. We include Replacement Cost Coverage on contents which means we'll replace your belongings at today's cost without any depreciation.
Example: Someone breaks into your home and steals your electronics.
Other Structures Coverage
Provides coverage for detached structures on your property, such as driveways, fences, sheds and swimming pools.
Example: A lightning strike damages your fence.
Personal Liability Coverage
Provides coverage for bodily injury or property damage to other parties for which you or other covered residents are legally responsible.
Example: A visitor in your home trips over a piece of furniture and is injured.
Loss of Use Coverage
Helps cover living expenses if your home is unfit to live in after a covered loss.
Example: A fire damages your home, and you have to move out temporarily while the damage is repaired.
Medical Payments to Others
